Blog #3: Meme This!

Image
For my meme, I wanted to represent how excited I am for graduation. I used the baby making a fist in success and overlayed it on top of a good quality image of High Point University. I did have to try several different pictures since some of them did turn out blurry or awkward but I am super happy with how this came out. Whichever picture I decided to use, the baby did have to be on the bottom half of the picture because the baby's body is cut off.  You can see my layers and placement below on the photoshop screenshot!  I did end up posting the meme to my instagram story and I did get a good response from it! Below I attached one of the screenshots from it. It was super interesting to me that the message I had intended my meme of having was very similar to the caption my friend made.

Blog 2: Adjusted Profile Picture

Image
Original Image Final Image What I Did While editing this I did run into a lot of challenges. I think my issue was that my dress was black rather than another color, so I did have to do some more research to troubleshoot my issues. The other issue I had was my hair. Since I edited my dress into my favorite color, forest green, the bottom part of my blonde hair looks a lighter shade of green. I think if I spent more time on editing the image to fix that, it would look a lot nicer. What I learned with this assignment was not only how to use adjustment layers and change colors, but also, how to troubleshoot and fix problems at hand. Overall, as frustrating as it was, I am glad I stuck through it and learned a lot.
